Anyone who knows anything about me knows or soon finds out that I have a deep (possibly obsessive) love for ravens (and other members of the Corvus family). They’re clever, cheeky, hilariously petty and occasionally generous. When a raven trusts you, they’ll sometimes leave behind gifts—small, shiny treasures they’ve collected.
That’s the spirit behind this Substack. Whether it’s a game, a fun fact, a story preview, or an early copy of something I’ve been working on, this space is where I’ll drop small gifts—just for you, my favorite human.
Who I Am & Why I’m Here
I’m Reid Dumas, an author, fantasy nerd, game master, and forever student of myth and mystery. My paranormal romance series Raven’s Lore follows ancient beings, complicated love, and the power of choice (and sometimes ruin).
This space is a way to connect directly with readers without algorithms, without noise. Just story, art, and magic between us. I’ve been quietly rebuilding my world behind the scenes, and now feels like the right time to return (with gifts!).
